Role DescriptionAs a Senior Accountant, you''ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services to a wide range of owner-managed businesses, sole traders and SMEs. From preparing year-end accounts or management accounts, to supporting trainees and maintaining client relationships - no two days are the same.You''ll work closely with Team Leaders and Directors to ensure deadlines are met, queries are dealt with proactively, and clients feel supported and in safe hands.Your responsibilities will include: Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnershipsPreparing corporate tax computations and liaising with our tax team where neededTaking responsibility for jobs from planning through to completionSupporting and reviewing the work of trainees and juniorsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships ProfileWhat You''ll Bring to the Team 3-4+ years in an accountancy practice environmentActively studying towards ACCA or ACA (ideally a few exams away from qualifying)Solid experience preparing accounts and working directly with clientsA good understanding of accounting and tax principlesComfortable using accounting software (we use Xero, Sage, and Iris)Great attention to detail and time management skillsFriendly, can-do attitude with strong communication skills Benefits Full study support AAT/ACCA/ACCA/CTA and more Course fees fundedStudy leave plus your exam day given as additional paid leave.
