Location: Camden (NW1) - commutable from Kentish Town, King''s Cross, Euston, Hampstead, and Islington
Pay: -110130 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential to go permanent
Long Term Futures are working with a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Camden to appoint an experienced SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated HLTA to take on additional responsibility, supporting both in-class learning and delivering small-group and intervention sessions for pupils with additional needs.

The Role
As an SEN HLTA, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 support tailored to pupils with ASD, ADHD, and other SEND profiles.
- Covering classes during PPA time, ensuring high-quality delivery of planned lessons.
- Supporting with behaviour management strategies to ensure pupils are engaged and able to progress.
- Contributing to lesson planning and adapting resources to meet individual needs.
- Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teachers and SENCOs to inform support plans.
- Acting as a role model and mentor for Teaching Assistants within the school.
What We''re Looking For
- Level 4 HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience with class cover and lesson delivery).
- Strong experience supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs in a primary school setting.
- Confident with classroom management and leading learning independently.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to inclusion, pupil wellbeing, and continuous professional growth.
