OverviewKey Duties (Including but not limited to):

Leading client portfolios analysis using catastrophe analytics and applying reinsurance structures, along with client interaction on topics like View of Risk, Climate Change, Inflation, Event Response, and Placement Analytics.

Leading conversations with reinsurers, brokers, and actuaries to understand exposures, review modelling results, explain limitations, and resolve issues promptly.

Advising clients on potential incurred losses, post-event, and on risk management.

Collaborating with analytics teams across geographies and participating in related practice groups and committees.

Qualifications Required

Excellent academic qualifications, ideally in natural hazards, science, maths, or equivalent.

Experience Required

Minimum 10 years of experience in catastrophe analytics within insurance, reinsurance, or similar financial services.

Experience with vendor models (e.g., Moody’s RMS, Verisk) and Catastrophe Model Validation.

Experience modelling complex global accounts is advantageous.

Strong computer skills; experience with MS Office, Tableau, PowerBI, and programming is beneficial.
