This company specialises in the construction of a variety of commercial new-build projects. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in the West Midlands who has a wealth of tier-1 experience in commercial build projects.Your new roleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the success of projects by leading the commercial aspects and ensuring their seamless execution. Your responsibilities will include:Leadership and Strategy: Managing the project''s commercial team and taking accountability for all pre- and post-contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting.Value Creation: Partnering with clients and industry leaders to enhance value, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote best practices, all while ensuring commercial success.Financial Oversight: Ensure project cash-flow by preparing precise final accounts for main and subcontract agreements.Key Deliverables:

Handle measurements, variations, contractual notices, and change valuations.Manage procurement planning, subcontractor agreements, and supply chains.Prepare and deliver monthly cost reports, project progress, and tender strategies for stakeholders.What youand#39;ll need to succeed:

Previous roles as a Senior QS is essential.Experience delivering new-build commercial projects with a value of up to 50m.Must have a tier-1 background.Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.Appetite to go above and beyond in your role.What you''ll get in returnCompetitive salary and profit share scheme.
