The Role: We are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a high performing, multi-entity business based in Leicester as they look to add a Finance Manager into their Group Finance team. This role plays a key position within the finance function, supporting the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, accounting, and financial control across a portfolio of entities and divisions. Sitting at the heart of Group Finance, the position offers excellent exposure to complex reporting areas including multi-entity structures, acquisitions, and statutory reporting, while also providing the opportunity to influence processes and drive improvements across the wider finance function.Key Responsibilities: • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for assigned entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. • Prepare and review journals including accruals, prepayments, provisions, revenue recognition, and intercompany adjustments. • Produce monthly management information including PandL, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting, alongside detailed commentary on performance. • Deliver variance and trend analysis, highlighting key risks and performance drivers. • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are complete, robust, and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly. • Support Group consolidation by providing accurate entity-level financial information and reporting schedules. • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance ..... full job details .....
