Purchase Ledger Clerk

Could you bring these values to our Purchase Ledger team?The Role:Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager this crucial role has control of accurate, timely invoice and payment processing to ensure continued successful business relationships. This role is high volume so would suit someone that thrives in a busy environment and can potentially spot ways to utilise our Access Financials purchase ledger system to streamline and refine our processes. ResponsibilitiesProviding accounting support.Check and process high volumes of purchase invoices, ensuring approval.Statement Reconciliation.Managing payment runs and investigating payment queries.Processing ad-hoc payment requests.Maintaining supplier records and sanction searches on potential new suppliers.Demonstrating good judgement in questioning current processes/procedures and submitting recommendations for the development of more efficient solutions.QualificationsWho are Solus?Solus, who are owned by Aviva, are one of the UK leaders in vehicle repairs, returning cars to the road in just 11 days on average and a 4.6/5 star customer rating.
