Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established yet vastly expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new Pre-delivery Inspection Engineer to work at their workshop in Northampton. Responsibilities Carrying out PDIs on the company s fleet of Material Handling equipment Completing all necessary paperwork that comes along with the inspections Reporting to the Service Manager to ensure all equipment inspections are carried out efficiently Working alongside the rest of the engineering team to maintain a high level of customer service Ensuring that all health and safety standards are maintained in the workshop Assisting the workshop team with maintenance when needed Requirements The company are open to 2 types of individual with this position. You will either be and experienced forklift truck engineer or someone with experience of carrying out PDIs within a closely related industry such as commercial vehicles, plant hire, powered access, agriculture or automotive. In terms of location, you must be based in commutable distance of Northampton.
