Sewell Wallis is working with a globally present law firm that operates in 40+ countries and has 5,000 lawyers working for it.Due to expansion, the Sheffield office is looking for a Legal Administrator to work part-time for 3 days per week.The right candidate will ideally have a year or so of experience in administration within a legal setting. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking.What will you be doing?Preparing Court/Counsel''s bundlesCreation of secure linksPreparing legal documentation and court formsDocument comparisonsLiaising with clients and courtsOpening new mattersArranging conference callsSaving documents electronicallyWorking to strict deadlinesProcessing fee-earner expensesArranging meetingsManaging workflow to the Document and Design Centre, Print Room etc as required; proactively taking steps to ensure work is returned within required timescalesBecoming adept at proof-reading and carrying out quality checks on all work producedEstablishing positive and effective working relationships with colleagues at all levelsProvide cross Practice-Group support where necessaryWhat skills are we looking for?To be successful for this Legal Administrator role, you must have:Strong attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels, confident, professional telephone mannerSolid understanding of basic Maths and Microsoft Excel - the ability to manipulate monetary amounts Proven ability to work to tight ..... full job details .....
