Chef de Partie

Our client, a prestigious establishment in Suffolk is looking for a ambitious and dedicated Chef De Partie to join their forward thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate and professional kitchen team focused on excellence, creativity, and high standards.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for your section including pastry, fish, sauce, and larder.Prepare mise en place to the highest standards.Maintain top levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.Support and mentor junior team members and commis chefs.Work closely with the Head Chef on new menu ideas and cook-offs.Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety and allergen regulations.Liaise with restaurant staff to communicate dish availability.Report to the Head [Sous] chef any maintenance or Health and Safety IssuesTo be responsible for making sure that all foods are handled prepared and cooked in accordance to Health and Safety regulations and that at no time are the guests and staff put to risk through unsafe methods or drop in hygiene standards.To only accept the highest standard of produce into the kitchen, ensuring that sufficient stocks are maintained for the business in hand.To ensure stores and fridges are kept clean and tidy, and stock is used in the correct rotation.To maintain a high standard of presentation and quality as directed by Head Chef.Complete all Hygiene data sheets accurately, [temp and time, holding, deliveries, cleaning etc]What Were Looking For:Previous experience in a similar role within a high-quality kitchen.Strong knowledge of food safety and allergen protocols.Ability to work under pressure while maintaining standards.A team player with leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.Creativity and passion for producing exceptional dishes.Why Join Us?Be part of a renowned kitchen team in a respected establishment.Opportunities for training and career progression.A collaborative and supportive working environment.Live in available if required, there will be a charge for this.Hours are based on straight shifts which will include some breakfast shifts, 5 days out of seven to include weekends on a rota basis. 48 hours per week.
