You will be a vital part of a team of passionate support workers in enriching the lives of vulnerable adults with complex disabilities.All residents will have varied needs, ranging from physical disabilities to complex medical needs, epilepsy, autism, SLD, PMLD and communication difficulties. Some settings also specialise in supporting individuals with Hearing Impairment and Visual Impairment, though training in these areas is not necessary. As a Residential Support Worker you will be working closely 1:1 with residents in all aspects of their daily life; feeding, washing, dressing, medication administration and undertaking day to day tasks.
