The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of fire prevention initiatives as well as education and youth and community engagement activities.This Head of Department role will provide direction and innovation to design and deliver activities which seek to improve engagement with communities, their understanding of us and to support our workforce diversity. Close collaboration with other service delivery departments is essential to ensure community safety and engagement activities are high quality and aligned to strategic objectives.The ability to provide direction and leadership to a diverse team of specialists is essential.
