Senior Civil Engineer (Roads & Drainage)

About This Role

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with strong technical expertise, and a genuine dedication to sustainable design. You''ll collaborate across engineering teams to develop detailed civil engineering designs from concept through to completion.

Your input will strengthen delivery in sectors including data centres, commercial offices, finance, education, hotels & leisure, and mixed-use developments.

What You''ll Do

• Own and lead civil engineering design across drainage, earthworks, utilities, and more.
• Guide project teams from feasibility to final delivery.
• Partner with architects, planners, and stakeholders to deliver smart, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs meet technical standards, safety regulations, and environmental objectives.
• Mentor and support junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations and driving repeat business through professional excellence.

Skills & Experience

• Qualified with a BEng or MSc (or equivalent) in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Chartered or Incorporated (CEng/IEng MICE), or working towards chartership (strongly preferred).
• At least 5 years of relevant civil design and project delivery experience, ideally including data centre projects.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, Micro Drainage and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and client-facing confidence.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and sustainable engineering.
