Homelessness Support WorkerLocation: Martin House and Hatfield Road, St AlbansHours: Part-time (32.5 hours per week) Salary: 22,410 per annumJoin our dedicated homelessness team supporting adults with complex needs to regain stability, build independence and move towards their own accommodation.The RoleBased mainly at Hatfield Road (5 beds), you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, offering practical and emotional support that helps residents feel respected, included and empowered. You will:Support residents with daily routines, life skills and personal goalsRespond calmly to challenging situations and maintain clear boundariesKeep the building safe through checks, repairs reporting and maintaining shared spacesComplete accurate case notes, risk assessments and other documentation.You will also spend time at Martin House (16 beds) for safety checks and occasional support, working collaboratively with the wider team.Regular lone working is required, so confidence and good decision-making are essential.About YouYou are resilient, proactive and calm under pressure, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage people from diverse backgrounds.
