An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in Cardiff. You will be working for one of UK''s leading health care providers. This is an excellent care home for adults with physical disabilities offering ensuite rooms with ceiling hoists. To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.Responsibilities

As Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities include:Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environmentLead the nursing teams to provide high quality, person centred care and support in a way which promotes dignity, privacy, safety and independence and which promotes equality and diversity for everyone living and working in the serviceSupport the Service Manager to manage the effective use of resources, including those which impact on the financial performance of the service, and maintain high levels of occupancyComply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all timesEnsure the smooth and effective running of the transitional unit within the home and liaise with external health professionalsProvide clinical leadership and supervision within the serviceHave full accountability for infection control implementation and audit throughput the serviceQualifications and Experience

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse in a nursing home settingPrevious experience of leading a teamGreat written and verbal communication skillsGood IT skills and confidence in computer-based workA can-do attitudeBenefits
