The role will be based in Rochester and comes with a salary of 46,000.Responsibilities for Test Engineer.Lead electrical panel testing, covering insulation resistance, secondary injection testing, and device configurationManage and maintain the test area and contribute to scheduling and planningDevelop and refine test documentation and protocolsCoordinate all testing phases, including customer witness acceptance testsCollaborate with engineering, production, and client teams to deliver projects on time and to specificationProactively identify testing risks and implement effective controlsSupport project managers by monitoring progress and executing remedial actions when neededEnsure compliance with all relevant technical standardsOccasionally assist with commissioning at customer sitesRequirements for Test EngineerStrong background in electrical or systems engineeringPrevious testing experience in a related industry is an advantageTesting qualifications and accreditations are a bonusExcellent troubleshooting skills and a curious, problem-solving attitudeFamiliarity with the power industry, particularly high-voltage transmission/distributionAdvantageous knowledge of high-accuracy metering systems (e.g. CoP1, CoP2)Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and project documentationExperience with SCADA, control systems, and communication protocols is a plusBackground ..... full job details .....
