We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Senior Residential support worker to join a Children s Residential Home in Coventry. This is a permanent, full-time position ideal for a candidate with a strong background in residential childcare. Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on guidance, coaching, and informal supervision to support workers during shifts Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that promotes the emotional and physical wellbeing of children and young people Support the implementation and review of care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and consistency in all interactions Ensure all practice adheres to Ofsted standards, safeguarding procedures, and internal policies Report incidents appropriately and contribute to ensuring a safe and supportive home environment Requirements: Full UK driving licence Minimum 2 years experience in a children s residential care setting Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care Confident communicator with excellent leadership and teamwork skills Resilient, reliable, and committed to ..... full job details .....
