This is an excellent opportunity to work with a technically strong consultancy delivering high-quality ground investigation and foundation design solutions across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects throughout the South West and Midlands.You will play a key role in managing projects from site through to reporting, working closely with senior engineers and clients.The RoleAs a Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Supervising and managing ground investigation worksLogging soils and rocks in accordance with BS5930Overseeing drilling, trial pitting and in-situ testingScheduling and interpreting laboratory testingUndertaking geotechnical analysis including foundation assessments and slope stabilityProducing factual and interpretative geotechnical reportsLiaising with clients, contractors and internal teamsEnsuring health and safety standards are maintained on siteRequirementsDegree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or related discipline2+ years'' experience within ground investigation or consultancyStrong technical reporting skillsGood understanding of UK ground conditions and investigation techniquesFull UK driving licenceWorking towards chartership (ICE or Geological Society ..... full job details .....
