CMA is delighted to be working with our client who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.This is a crucial position within the finance function, working closely with the CFO and Head of FPandA across a broad range of financial activities including management reporting, cash flow forecasting, and general accounting. The successful candidate will be technically astute, detail-oriented, and proactive, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations across the business.What will the Management Accountant role involve? Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and financial forecastsManaging key responsibilities including reconciliations, VAT returns, and regulatory submissionsOverseeing accounts payable and supporting receivables to maintain strong financial controlPreparing cash flow forecasts and financial analysis to support strategic decision makingAssisting with year-end processes, audit preparation, and continuous improvement of financial procedures Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy: AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part qualifiedExperience in end to end management accounting or bookkeepingStrong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, PAYE, and financial reportingConfident Excel skills and confident using accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooksHighly organised, proactive, and detail-orientated Additional benefits and information for the role ..... full job details .....
