Salaried GP

Due to a retiring senior partner, we have an opportunity for a salaried GP to work with a cohesive primary care team serving 11,500+ patients in Hammersmith, West London.
OverviewWe offer comprehensive NHS primary care services and work in an award-winning, purpose-built, state-of-the-art premises in a lovely part of London.
Responsibilities
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population.
The provision of services commensurate with the primary care contract.
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.
Effective management of long-term conditions.
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks.
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.
Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload.
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process.
Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice.
Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF.
Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the practice, including clinical governance and training.
Ensure compliance with the appraisal process.
Prepare and complete the revalidation process.
Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team.
Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines.
Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure.
Review and always adhere to practice protocols and policies.
Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
A vocationally trained and accredited GP, preferably MRCGP.
Current registration with the GMC.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
IT proficiency and familiarity with primary care clinical systems (the practice uses SystmOne).
Good time-keeping and reliability.
Good team player.
Good understanding of GMS contracting requirements and Quality and Outcomes Framework (QoF).
Experience and an interest in a specific disease area would be welcome.
