We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the Hedge End area. Youandrsquo;ll be working with a fun- loving Year 2 class within which, there are a range of additional needs. You will need to be able be positive, enthusiastic and an advocate of lifelong learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A nurturing, positive approach with a passion for supporting childrenandrsquo;s learning
• The ability to adapt and respond to individual pupil needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and supportive learning experiences
• Work in Year 2
• Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs
• Provide full class support where needed
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to reach their full potential
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and other staff
• Be actively involved in wider school life, including events and enrichment activities
