We are a busy ambulatory unit seeing children from 0-18 years.You will be completing nurse led assessments for babies with jaundice.Providing direct nursing care and acting as an advocate for children and their families.To keep up to date with training and attending related courses to help you in your practice.Shift leading as well as supporting the ward manager.Main duties of the job

Assessing patients and being confident in venepuncture and cannulation.Supporting junior staff and students.Manage the department in the absence of the Lead nurse.Support and deal with patients, parents, relatives and care givers, being sensitive to their needs for dignity, privacy and ensuring a friendly environment.Keeping accurate documentation.Escalating concerns if a child is unwell.About us
