This role is placed within Oil and Gas, Nuclear or highly regulated industry. RoleAs a Lead Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for leading the development of Mechanical engineering and design within multi-discipline EPCM or EPC projects and these projects will range from Concept Design to Execution Designs. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. There is an initial requirement to support projects within the nuclear sector. You will also have the opportunity to deliver projects working in other sectors (Oil and Gas, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, and Food), small and large projects. You are responsible for leading and driving quality in engineering designs and projects including the checking and approval of design deliverables and You will lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers. ExperienceAs a Lead Mechanical Engineer you will hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Nuclear Engineering, preferably to Degree level (BEng or MEng) Demonstrable experience (5 years plus) as Lead / Senior / Principal Engineer , in multi-discipline engineering projectsChartered Engineer (CEng) with IMechE or equivalent institute (Preferable)Have a working knowledge of general engineering standards and specification (Essential) and nuclear standards ..... full job details .....
