An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Practitioner to join a reputable nursery rated Outstanding by Ofsted. The setting is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel secure, supported, and inspired to grow and develop.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be delivering engaging learning experiences aligned with a play-based curriculum. This maternity cover position offers a salary of £25,000 - £27,000, along with a range of staff benefits.

You will be responsible for:

* Encouraging children`s development through stimulating indoor and outdoor activities.
* Creating a warm, supportive environment that promotes learning and personal growth.
* Supporting safeguarding and child protection practices in line with statutory guidance.
* Developing positive relationships with parents and carers.
* Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning space for every child.
* Applying knowledge of the EYFS framework in daily routines and observations.


What we are looking for:

* Previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Educator, Nursery Assistant or in a similar role.
* At least 2 years` experience in nursery.
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
* A solid understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and welfare standards.
* Confident in supporting children across various developmental stages.


Shift:

* Monday - Friday: 8am - 3pm
