SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER Our client, an Oil and Gas Operator in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Process Engineer. This is an initial 12 Month PAYE contract role with a hybrid working system in place. Knowledge required of HYSYS, Microsoft Office and strong SAP experience, especially SAP PM. Experience of UK COMAH legislations pertaining to the safe operation of onshore hydrocarbon processes. Knowledge of working in a mid-stream / down-stream hydrocarbon processing facility. Job Overview: Provide day to day discipline engineering expertise to the asset operations organisation (including shutdowns) ensuring continued safe, reliable and environmentally responsible operations Use process engineering principles to optimise production Bring engineering rigour and good practice to fault finding and incident investigation. Provide a direct link between the discipline engineering organisation and operated asset Role Deliverables and Responsibilities: Provide day to day support for process engineering within the asset; meeting the operational demands of the asset as set by the operation manager Provide discipline expertise for troubleshooting operational issues identifying root cause and improvements to prevent future occurrence. Identify and implement solutions for immediate repairs, ensuring adherence to standards and engineering processes Be the competent engineer for discipline in the planning and execute process.
