Veritas Education are working with primary schools in the Leeds area who are looking to recruit multiple permanent "Early Years Special Needs Practitioners". The roles will be supporting a range of learners with varying learning, communication and behaviour needs across their early years and Key Stage 1 classes.Responsibilities

Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, or a childcare/education-based degree.Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and curriculum.Experience supporting learning needs such as Autism, Asperger''s, ADHD and others.Comfortable supporting on a 1:1 basis, across the classroom throughout sessions, play groups and other planned activities.Assisting with toilet support and hygiene requirements.Be able to manage challenging and crisis behaviour of learners within the early years age groups.Qualifications and Requirements
