We re looking to appoint a SEND Support Assistant to join the team on a flexible, supply basis. You ll be supporting children and young people with a range of complex needs offering one-to-one and small group assistance to help them access learning and develop essential life skills.This role is ideal for someone who s passionate about making a lasting impact and gaining valuable hands-on experience within specialist education settings. About You We re interested in hearing from individuals who have supported learners with: Autism (ASC) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Severe or Profound Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD) ADHD or related behavioural needs Challenging or dysregulated behaviours You Will Be Someone Who: Has experience within a SEND or alternative provision environment Can confidently support across different age groups and Key Stages Remains calm, patient and understanding in all situations Uses effective strategies for managing behaviour positively Builds meaningful, supportive relationships with pupils and staff alike Brings empathy, flexibility ..... full job details .....
