The successful Project Manager will be working on a range of large and small business application projects, so a knowledge of software, app development and the ability to fully understand the development lifecycle, is essential.   Work will also involve a range of customer programmes; so, experience of working within programmes of change and internal customers would be preferred.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Managing any assigned projects to provide the deliverables needed by the business
• Planning the project and monitoring any dependencies with other initiatives
• Managing risks and issues, ensuring each has an owner and that appropriate mitigation is in place
• Keeping the project within budget
• Working with third party suppliers
• Ensuring that the quality of the project’s deliverables is acceptable
• Working with internal stakeholders

As a Project Manager. you will require the following skills and Experience:

• Professional Project Management accreditation e.g., OGC’s Prince2 or PMP
• Solid and demonstrable experience of successful project management
• The ability to deliver projects
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Resilient under pressure and able to work in a constantly changing environment.
