Payroll Co-ordinator

We re looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Payroll Co-ordinator to join our Group Payroll Team within People Operations. This is a hybrid role, with office attendance required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You will play a key role in delivering an accurate, timely, and customer-focused payroll service to our employees, supporting multiple payrolls and reconciliation across 1,500 to 5,000 employees. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects such as acquisitions, systems implementations, and data migration. Key Responsibilities Accurately process multiple monthly payrolls in line with SLAs, including new starters, leavers, and statutory absence calculations. Manage end-to-end payroll reconciliation for 1,500 to 5,000 employees. Administer and audit expense claims in line with company policy. Provide payslips, financial references, and statements of earnings to current and former employees. Respond to payroll-related queries via phone, email, ServiceNow, or in person. Ensure accurate PAYE and pension liability calculations and submissions in line with HMRC and TPR requirements. Upload net wages into banking systems and ensure timely processing of payments. Complete all month-end payroll activities and ensure data accuracy within HR/payroll systems. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for Finance and auditing purposes.
