by Albert Adri, alongside banqueting and 24-hour in-room dining, this role offers the opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a diverse and inspiring environment.As a Chef de Partie, you will support the kitchen team in delivering world-class cuisine, showcasing creativity and consistency in every dish. You will work closely with the Sous Chef to ensure smooth operations across all kitchen sections while maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes across multiple outlets, including modern British cuisine, afternoon tea delicacies, and in-room dining offerings.Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation for all dishes in line with the hotels luxury standards.Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef to manage your section effectively, ensuring all mise en place is completed for service.Support other sections of the kitchen as required, including banqueting operations and pastry preparation for Cakes and Bubbles.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly and safely, reporting any issues promptly.Actively contribute to the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative working atmosphere.Mentor and support junior team members, sharing your skills and knowledge to promote their development.Be flexible and adaptable to work across various outlets and shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays.Requirements:Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or equivalent environment.Strong knowledge of British cuisine and experience with banqueting or afternoon tea preparation is advantageous.Exceptional culinary skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.A passion for food and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.Impeccable grooming and presentation in line with luxury hospitality standards.A positive attitude and a strong team ethic.Flexibility to work 47 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends and bank holidays.The Benefits:Pay of up to £40,000 including service chargeAccess to heavily discounted friends and family rooms ratesTwo complimentary rooms nights per year (after 1 year of employment)Up to 50% colleagues discount in all our food and beverage outletsColleague wellness sessions in our Akasha spa each month including osteopath, podiatrist, yoga and fitness classes (as well as staff discounts on spa treatments)Regular social events, including our infamous Summer Party (August) and Black-Tie Annual Awards dinner (January)Christmas celebrations, including colleague lunch, childrens party and Christmas giftAutomatic membership of the companys life assurance scheme from day oneGenerous discounts on retail and dining in Central London through the West End Club appMental health support including Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and mental health champions in all departmentsA variety of external benefits including gym discounts and free eye testsCycle to work scheme and season ticket loanA wide range of both internal and external training and development programmes to support all of our colleagues career progressionThe usual bits and bobs such as free meals on duty, uniform laundry, pension and holiday
