An exciting opportunity to promote and develop the RAD''s and Jack Petchey Foundation''s Step into Dance programme.Step into Dance is a Royal Academy of Dance programme in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation, an organisation that empowers young people and widens their opportunities through grant giving and achievement recognition.Working closely with the Programme Manager and the Step into Dance (SiD) Team, you will develop and manage the delivery of events for the SiD programme including external events in line with SiD’s artistic vision. You will also maintain close ties with the Jack Petchey Foundation (JPF) to ensure that all events fulfil the joint mission of JPF and the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).As a Step IntoDance Events Manager, you will be:Representing the Step Into Dance programmeProducing and delivering participation projects, including facilitating, managing venues and planning for the dayWorking with the Communications officer to ensure event promotionMonitoring and reporting on the budgeting, KPIs and financial statisticsOur ideal candidate will have

Experience of producing and managing public eventsExperience of working with professional theatres, venues and independent contractorsExperience of working within and managing a budget to creatively maximise results for participantsWorking knowledge of relevant legislation for working with children and young people including safeguardingExperience and/or knowledge of working with Secondary schools and youth organisationsKnowledge of health and safety at public events, including risk assessmentsEnthusiasm and commitment to improving the lives of young people through the artsWe are passionate about providing a positive workplace culture. While time in our accessible London (Wandsworth / Battersea) office will be required, we operate a hybrid model of in-person and remote working.
