We are currently seeking professional Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Grimsby. The Role Our client is a 24-year old male, who has a diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder. We are seeking a Rehabilitation Support Worker/PA for 5 hours per week; ideally 1.5 to 2 hours per day over 3 days. The role of the support worker will be to: Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning. Assist with dressing, if required. Accompany the client to the supermarket to plan buying his food for breakfast and lunch. Support him to prepare his own breakfast and lunch 2 days per week (days can be negotiated). Attend social events at evenings or weekends (will be requested in advance). Support may be requested in advance to attend events/gigs/festivals/overnight events. Be able to assist with folding/ lifting/ pushing a lightweight wheelchair (not required all of the time).
