• Producing high quality MIG welds on mild steel between 1.5mm and 10mm
• Carrying out occasional TIG welding on mild steel and thin gauge components
• Welding fabricated assemblies for mechanically engineered products
• Working accurately from engineering drawings
• Inspecting welds to ensure strength and consistency

• Proven experience as a Welder within an engineering or fabrication environment
• Confident MIG welding of mild steel
• Some experience with TIG welding
• Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings
• A precise, methodical approach with strong attention to detail
