We''re partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Wednesbury, looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their small, supportive finance team.

This is a newly created role following a team restructure, giving you the opportunity to take full ownership of the sales ledger and ensure prompt, accurate payment collection.

You''ll be joining a company known for its stability, investment in people, and genuinely down-to-earth culture. While the finance function has strong processes in place, they''re looking for someone who will bring fresh ideas, challenge the status quo, and make this role their own.

• Take full responsibility for credit control - chasing outstanding payments and managing debtor relationships.

• Post and allocate daily cash receipts.

• Raise and issue invoices and credit notes.

• Produce aged debt and DSA reports.

• Lead monthly credit management meetings.

• Work closely with Commercial and Quality teams to resolve queries or disputes.

• Support the wider finance team with ledger work and reporting when needed.

• Proven credit control and sales ledger experience.

• Confident managing customer accounts and building long-term relationships.

• Comfortable using Excel and accounting software.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and happy to work independently.

• Brings ideas for process improvements and efficiencies.

• Thrives in a fully office-based environment.
