Plant Fitter

Our client, a well-established leader in the agriculture, plant hire, is looking for a skilled Plant Fitter to join their team in Milton Keynes. If you have experience working with a variety of plant machinery and are passionate about delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services, this is the role for you.

• Maintenance & Repair: Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of plant machinery and equipment, including excavators, loaders, and forklifts.

• Diagnostics: Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on plant machinery to ensure efficient operation.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety standards and company procedures.

• Workshop & Site Work: Work both in the workshop and on-site to repair and maintain machinery as required.

• Documentation: Complete all relevant maintenance logs and reports accurately.

• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure machinery is fully operational and projects run smoothly.

• Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or in a similar mechanical maintenance role

• Strong knowledge of a variety of plant machinery and equipment

• Ability to diagnose faults and repair plant machinery in a timely manner

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Full UK driving license (some travel between sites may be required)

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance) are desirable, but not essential
