As they continue to scale and diversify, they''re looking for a Procurement Manager to take ownership of raw material and packaging procurement - helping to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and support operational success. Role Responsibilities: You''ll play a central role in ensuring production has what it needs, when it needs it. That includes:Procuring all raw materials and packaging, negotiating pricing, quantities, and lead timesMonitoring and managing tray and pallet usage, including daily hire/de-hire through customersMinimising waste through smart stock control and supplier communicationWorking closely with technical and production teams to meet spec, especially during promotionsMaintaining accurate procurement records and supporting compliance with packaging waste regulations (e.g., Valpak)Supporting the finance team with forecasting, reporting, and budget inputAttending crop meetings and liaising with site supervisors to ensure smooth site-to-site logisticsCandidate Requirements:A solid understanding of fresh produce or FMCG environmentsStrong negotiation and supplier relationship skillsOrganised, analytical, and confident with Excel and stock systemsKnowledge of packaging waste regulations is a bonus, but training can be providedComfortable working cross-functionally in a ..... full job details .....
