Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a well establish primary schools in Cambridge to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Years 3-6. This is a long-term, full-time, ideal for graduates considering teacher training or experienced Level 2 TAs seeking progression.

Your Role in School

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide focused academic support, helping pupils strengthen core skills and build confidence in preparation for upper KS2 assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing tailored 1:1 academic support
• Supporting class teacher with SATS Preparation
• Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Supporting pupil engagement and positive behaviour
• Contributing to pupil progress tracking and feedback

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or a relevant degree
• Experience supporting children aged 5-11
• Experience working with Students with SEN needs and EHCP
• Strong communication skills and confidence explaining key concepts
• A reliable, adaptable and professional attitude
