The Role As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will: Provide consistent, tailored support to pupils with a broad range of needs, including ASD, SLD, PMLD and communication difficulties. Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping them access learning and develop confidence and independence. Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and hoist use where required (training can be provided). Respond calmly and professionally to changes in behaviour, routine or emotional regulation needs. Build meaningful, trusting relationships that promote engagement, wellbeing and personal growth.
