Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a growing manufacturing team in Hull, providing essential maintenance support to ensure operations run efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
  
  
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults, ensuring timely and effective resolution to minimise downtime.
  
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for equipment and process enhancements.
  
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job reports in line with company procedures.
  
  
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  
  

• Time-served engineer with a mechanical bias and some electrical experience (ideally with 17th/18th Edition, but not essential).
  
  
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  
  
• Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  
  
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  
  
• Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards challenges.
  
  

• Competitive salary of -40,000 - -45,000, depending on experience.
