Tax Director

Overview
We are looking to recruit an ambitious Tax Director or Senior Manager to join our expanding Cheltenham tax team. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a fulfilling role with excellent prospects, based in Cheltenham. You will have the chance to progress your tax career within one of the South West''s leading employers, serving a wide range of clients. We are interested in speaking to candidates with private client tax experience. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will influence the development of the practice and have People Management and Business Development responsibilities. This role offers hybrid working, with the flexibility to work from the office, home, or client site while delivering excellent client service.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Work with the management team to develop the tax team locally in Cheltenham and nationally, including recruiting and coaching team members to help them reach their potential.
Build strong relationships with a broad portfolio of tax clients and provide a quality, trusted-advisor service.
Build and maintain a network of local contacts to aid business development.
About You
Appropriately qualified with experience in a tax environment.
A strong business developer capable of building contacts and networking within the local business community.
A great people manager who enjoys developing and coaching their team.
Highly commercial with the drive to contribute to Bishop Fleming’s growth.
