This role involves detailed polishing of metal components to remove defects and ensure compliance with exacting specifications. Ideal for someone with hands-on experience in metal finishing, casting, or related fields.Hours of Work: Week 1 (Mornings): 05:30 to 13:45 (Monday to Thursday), 05:30 to 11:45 (Friday) £13.59 per hour Week 2 (Lates): 14:00 to 22:00 (Monday to Thursday), 12:00 to 19:05 (Friday) £15.29 per hour Key Responsibilities Perform polishing tasks across a variety of operations, including: Aerofoil (basic and complex) Radius (basic and complex) Edge finishing (leading/trailing) Core exit flash removal Inter vane and shroud polishing Deburring and use of small/large power grinders Use precision measuring tools to assess and adjust parts. Select and replace grinding belts as required. Maintain detailed records, including booking work on internal systems. Collaborate with inspection teams to ensure high-quality standards. Comply with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines. Support training and continuous improvement across operations.
