This is a hands-on role reporting to the CFO, where you will take ownership of financial control and reporting across the business. You\''ll lead a small team, drive improvements in processes and systems, and act as a strategic partner to department heads.Duties

Managing all financial operations, including ledgers, reconciliations, and internal controlsPreparing accurate and timely monthly management accountsSupporting board reporting and investor materialsMonitoring cash flow and working capital, identifying potential risksEnsuring statutory compliance, including tax and audit readinessAssisting in budgeting and maintaining rolling forecastsDelivering variance analysis and insightful recommendationsLeading process enhancements to support future growthOverseeing payroll, expenses, and purchasing compliancePartnering with external advisors, auditors, and accountantsLeading and mentoring a team of three finance professionalsProviding financial insight to guide strategic decision-makingSupporting fundraising, MandA, and other finance initiativesAbout the Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualified experience and technical expertise in UK statutory reporting. With a keen eye for detail, you\''ll bring excellent analytical capabilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
