Job title: Damp and mould operative Salary: 36,000 - 38, 000 + van and fuel card Location: Covering East LondonAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and proactive damp and mould operative to join our team, delivering high-quality repairs and remedial works in occupied and void social housing properties. Working across Maida Vale, you will play a key role in improving residents'' homes by addressing damp and mould issues and carrying out painting and decorating tasks to a professional standard.This is a permanent position offering excellent job security, a competitive salary, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the local community.ResponsibilitiesCarry out remedial works to address damp and mould issues in social housing properties, including cleaning, treating affected areas, and applying anti-mould coatings.Undertake painting and decorating works internally and externally to a high standard.Prepare surfaces (sanding, filling, sealing) before painting or treatment.Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations.Communicate effectively with tenants to explain works and minimise disruption.Maintain tools, materials, and company vehicles in good condition.Accurately record all completed works using handheld devices or work orders.Work as part of a wider maintenance team to deliver excellent customer serviceRequirementsExperience as a Painter and Decorator, with additional knowledge of damp and mould treatment in residential ..... full job details .....
