Health and Safety Lead - Part Time

What You Will Bring to the Team
The Essentials
- Strong experience in an HSE/HSSE role, preferably within food or similar manufacturing environment.
- Good working knowledge of UK health and safety and environmental legislation.
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture.
- Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with a range of audiences.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
The Desirables
- Understanding of food manufacturing risks and controls.
- IOSH, or equivalent qualification.
- IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management, or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Food safety qualification at level 2 or 3.
- Practical understanding of Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) requirements.

Location & Travel
