Support Worker, Drybrook, GL17. A lovely alternate weekend, 2 -1 role for a kind, generous support worker, to work with a wonderful young lady, 24 years old with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. £16.50-£19.00 gph depending on experience Nearest Station: Not applicable. Driver with own car is essential due to rural location Salary/Wage: £16.50-£19.00 gross per hour depending on experience Driving Requirements: Yes / WAV ( wheelchair adapted vehicle) for use on duty Essential: Previous experience supporting a young person with additional needs, PEG feeding and having up to date buccal/epilepsy training. This role is open to female applicants only. Non-smoker / vaper. Start Date: ASAP Days and Hours: Alternate Saturdays and Sundays 8am-8pm Pets in Home: Yes, 2 gentle and friendly dogs Recruiter Contact: Janet About the Client/Child: Lucy, 24 years old, has her own annex which is fully adapted to meet all her needs and surrounded by outstanding views of the Gloucestershire/Welsh countryside. Lucy has her own hydrotherapy pool, a wonderful bedroom and sensory room with access to her garden. Lucy loves sensory input, for example watching TV programs; Strictly Come Dancing, Mr Tumble and Balamory are firm favourites. Lucy has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
