The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing health and safety policies across site. This role requires a hands on approach to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety across the business.Client DetailsThis opportunity is with a well-established FMCG organisation based in Lancashire. The company has a wide customer base both online and within various retailers and are committed to delivering high-quality products and ensuring a positive customer experience.DescriptionThe Health and Safety Manager will reports directly to the Operations Director and will be responsible for Health and Safety across the site including both manufacturing and warehousing departments. They will: Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and industry standardsConduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazardsIdentify development opportunities and deliver health and safety training to employees and management teamsWork cross functionally to develop, implement and maintain robust health and safety systems that integrate with the sites QMSMonitor and review health and safety performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior managementEnsure compliance to all legislations including COSHH, PUWER and RIDDORUpholding APHA standards related to biosecurity, contamination control, and traceability of materialInvestigate incidents and accidents, ensuring appropriate ..... full job details .....
