Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives within a large engineering context. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and objectives, and align with broader business goals.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle delivery of IT projects-from initiation to closure.

  • Create comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and align resource provisioning.

  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners/vendors to ensure smooth operations.

  • Identify, monitor, and resolve risks, issues, and interdependencies promptly.

  • Provide clear and regular updates on project progress, key milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders.

  • Ensure adherence to governance, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support change management and drive user adoption across the organisation.

  • Assist in refining and improving project delivery processes and methodologies.



Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in IT project management (ideally 3+ years).

  • Solid understanding of mainstream project management frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • Proven track record managing budgets, timelines, and vendor performance.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello, or similar).

  • Aptitude for juggling multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment.

  • Experience developing and overseeing implementation of projects with broad impact across the organisation.

  • Professional certification in project management (e.g., APM PMQ) is a plus.



Desirable Attributes

  • Background in infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP, or software development projects.

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Capability to influence and drive organizational change.

  • Comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholder levels, from technical teams to senior leaders.
