Electrical Technician

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join a leading engineering company based in Fareham.

Introduction

The primary role of the Electrical Technician, once fully trained as an Engineer, will be to design and develop control systems for complex technical machines and equipment. This role has huge development opportunities for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

Your duties will include working on motion control equipment and drives, safety systems, and monitoring systems - PLC and video based. This role will become be a mix of desk-based specification, design and documentation as well as being down on the production line both coordinating and assisting with the work so a hands on approach will be required for this position.

Ideal Experience:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent relatable experience.
• Any experience of electrical control systems would be beneficial
• Experience in electrical circuit fault finding.
• Experience in wiring and any wiring standards knowledge
• Willingness to be hands on.
• Keen to develop and progress
• Proficient in MS Office..

Salary - £35,000 - £42,000

Hours:  Day Shift Monday to Friday
