This role revolves around the effective management of inventory and stores within a defence manufacturing environment, ensuring seamless operations and timely delivery of products.Key Responsibilities:Stock control and storekeeping, including shelf life controlLoading manufacturing cells with jobs as per planned lead and cycle timesPacking and issuing tooling, including the use of hand toolsUpdating computer records efficientlyUndertaking kitting activitiesLoading and unloading LorriesJob Requirements:Experience in either Manufacturing control or inventory control within a manufacturing environmentAbility to follow instructions diligentlyFlexibility to work different shift patternsStrong attention to detailProven capability to work independentlyInitiative-driven and adaptableManual handling trainingLifting and Slinging training (including overhead cranes)ESD trainingFork lift truck licenceDesirable Skills:Proficiency in PC skills, particularly with EXCELKnowledge of Kanban and 2 bin systemsExperience with an Enterprise Planning System, such as SAPIf you possess experience in manufacturing control or inventory management within a manufacturing environment and have the skills mentioned above, we encourage you to ..... full job details .....
