Redfish are partnering with a growing force in MEP design and build projects. Due to a major project ramping up they are seeking to recruit a Design Manager with a strong Electrical background.-

Main duties

• Co-managing a team of 12 Electrical Engineers and 3 CAD Technicians.
• Managing the delivery of electrical designs to support-London Underground projects.-
• Previous LU / TfL project experience preferable
• Strong knowledge of electrical design processes, deliverables, and software packages required.
• Role may suit a Senior / Principle / Associate Electrical Engineer with experience managing teams and projects, or a Design Manager with a sufficient technical background.

• Some key responsibilities:
  • Managing the design programme.
  • Liaising with the client / third parties.
  • Dealing with design issues and supporting the rest of the team with their design work.
  • Carrying out technical reviews of electrical design packages.
  • Providing management support to the CAD team.
  • Organising surveys (these are carried out on our behalf by our installation team).
  • Managing resource, assisting with further recruitment if required.
• The role will be 3 days a week in the office and 2 days WFH
