Head of Engineering and PlatformWe are looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering and Platform to lead how technology is designed, built, and operated. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced engineer who wants to remain close to the technology while shaping architecture, standards, and delivery across the organisation.You will lead Software Engineering, Platform and Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams as a single, integrated function, with accountability for technical decisions, system quality, and production performance. This is not a purely strategic role - you will stay involved in technical design, complex delivery work, and critical problem-solving.You will own technical roadmaps, treat technology as a product rather than a project, and work closely with stakeholders to build systems that scale, evolve, and improve over time.
